my homecoming journey
The year of my Saturn Return was my first intimate experience with death. The transformative loss of my mother suddenly turned my world upside down… or perhaps, the right side up?
Death has a way of shaking + waking us up to a brighter, more awakened approach to living.
Like Confucius said thousands of years ago…
“We have two lives, and the second begins when we realize we only
have one.”
After years of struggling with body image and an eating disorder, I discovered yoga after a move to the west coast. I followed this solace to India where I earned my first yoga certification.
I enrolled in the IAYT Yoga Therapy Training with Sarahjoy Marsh in 2021, completing the program while working as a nanny. Both the training and my experience working with children deepened my understanding of how profoundly our childhood shapes us and the primal wounds that we carry—patterns that stay in our bodies long after the memories fade.

For so long, I was looking for an escape from reality, and what I found was a home within myself. I’ve come to understand that healing is a lifelong journey of reconnection– with ourselves, our bodies and the present moment.
I’m committed to walking with other edgewalkers, offering mindfulness-based tools and somatic approaches to help.
